The JCCP has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with HABIA which recognizes the important role that it plays in supporting the Skills Active - the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Wellbeing. Habia is recognised by Government as the Standards Setting Body for the hair and beauty industries and is responsible for developing the standards that form the basis of all UK recognized hair and beauty qualifications and creates Codes of Practice and Industry Guidelines.
